With this account in mind, Augustine K. Motswagae, (Botswana citizen and entrepreneur) initiated ART BANTU.COM, where history and technology can be brought together to appreciate different historic background in the form of art. This is an online shopping and resource centre, a platform where local producers and artists can market and sell their African artifacts. That's includes; stone sculpture, paintings, wood carvings, baskets, DVDs, CDs, etc. Our motto- "Soul in the art."

Our mission at ARTBANTU.COM is to create a preeminent presence on the World Wide Web that will provide users with a holistic experience of the African culture, while leveraging and enhancing ARTBANTU.COM position as a leader in African culture. Our ambition is to create a platform that can exhibit hidden talent in these different aspects of Southern Africa (Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Lesotho and Swaziland).
