Site Preparation and Cabling
• Netfusion offers comprehensive cabling solutions to
customers; interalia involving the following:

• Installation of data networks
• Cable Routes and Tracking
• Fibre optic installation, splicing and testing

• Electrical reticulation according to the SABS standards
• Wireless installation

• Maintenance of plants

The site preparation team is responsible for the installation and maintenance of structured cabling,
computer rooms, electrical outlets, security systems and security camera observation rooms.

The structured cabling installation and maintenance includes:
- Local area network cabling (token – ring, Ethernet and
arc net topologies with STP and UTP as well as fibre
optic cables)
- Data, camera and alarm cabling. Maintenance cabling
(coax and RS422) coaxial serial cabling installations,
Twin – axial and RS232/422/485
- Unshielded twisted pari (UTP) cabling
- Shielded twisted pair (STP, IBM type 1,2)
- Multi mode, single mode fibre optic cable installations
- Fusion and direct splicing and testing of fibre optic
cables
- Electrical outlets (UPS and normal power)
