Golden Seal Valet Service was incorporated in the year 1961 and was later registered in 2002 as a CC. The company functioned as a dry cleaning service and primarily serviced jackets, slacks and full suits. However the company’s service did cater to a full range of garments. The client base consisted of both businesses and individual customers. Collections and deliveries were made by Golden Seal Valet Services to the company depots and to contracted business clients. From the time of incorporation until February 2004, Golden Seal Valet Service operated out of Albany Grove, in Durban’s CBD. Amidst the market’s large competition base, Golden Seal Valet Service maintained a good rapport with its customers, even as one of the best in the business. As of February 2004, Golden Seal Valet Service relocated to Pinetown, later to The Power Centre Otto Volek Road, New Germany and despite the move, the depots and client base have been maintained to date.
