Tours & Trails is based in Cape Town and operate customised excursions to the Northern Cape, Western Cape and the Garden Route regions.

We provide the means to discover the country’s incredible wonders at the visitor’s own pace.

Our principal focus is natural and human history, concentrating on unique fauna and flora and on the cultural and historical aspects of the many peoples of our region.

We travel in small groups for flexibility of itinerary and to minimise the impact on often fragile environments.

All excursions are led by experienced and highly knowledgeable SA Tourism-registered guides.

We are well known for Special Interest excursions which include Birding, Botany, Culture, Archaeology and Wine appreciation, all led by specialists.

Walking programs in the Cape Peninsula, the Winelands, Overberg and the Cederberg are also offered, with extensions to the famed Drakensberg.

Walks, hikes and cycling can be incorporated into many of our popular excursions, along with unique specialist experiences like an encounter with the baboons, a shark safari, or sea kayaking and swimming with the African penguins.

In conjunction with our Cape operated excursions, we also organise cross-country and fly-in safaris, accommodation bookings and self- drive safari programs throughout Southern Africa.

We travel in comfortable air-conditioned vehicles including luxury sedans, (seating up to 4 passengers) and Microbuses (seating 7). For larger groups, we use luxury air-conditioned coaches with 12 to 44 seats, depending on group size.
