The Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre comprises a 17-hectare permanent exhibition village offering over 58 000 sq.m of modern, covered exhibition space, an olympic size open arena, safe parking and an adjoining agricultural showground.

• Annual Flagship Expo: ZITF
The Zimbabwe International Trade Fair is the largest intra-regional trade fair South of the Sahara. The multi-sectoral exhibition welcomes trade and public visitors, and its location in Bulawayo provides the largest, most central trade venue in the region.
ZITF 2006 dates: 25 to 29 April.

Two specialised exhibitions run concurrently with ZITF each year:
• A'Sambeni Africa (Travel and Tourism expo)
• PakPrint (Printing, Packaging and Publishing expo)

The Exhibition Village
- Six large Exhibition Halls offering 20 000 sq m of floor space, each with exhibitor lounge facilities.
- Over 100 permanent pavilions augmented by 45 000 sq m of developed and serviced open-air exhibition bays.
- Olympic size grass arena with catering buildings and grandstands.
- Fully-tarred double-lane boulevards and roads inside the complex.
- Full time grounds team tends the gardens, trees and lawns to provide an attractive setting all year round
- Four restaurants and seven fast-food catering outlets serving over 100 000 meals a day during large exhibitions
- Crowd capacity of around 450000
- Parking space for 6500 vehicles, two taxi ranks and bus parking bays
- On-site police station, clinic, post office, retail banks, press room, bandstand, casino, night club and VIP lounge
- Administrative and information centres handle up to 20 000 enquiries a day
- Ten public telephone booths; temporary private telephone connections in exhibition halls and private pavilions.
