Please Note : There are a number of companies offering "instant" Shelf CC registrations. We DISCOURAGE the registration of such an entity, because it is much more expensive and time consuming for you in the long run!
You will get a shelf CC "instantly", but :
1. The shelf CC is NOT in your name initially. So, you cannot open a bank account in the name of that CC until you are registered as a member. This means you cannot trade with the CC until this member change has been approved. The member-change process is in itself much more time consuming than a new CC registration!
2. You may not like the shelf CC name - It takes a further 3 weeks to change the shelf CC name once you buy it. Nothing can be done to rush name change.
3. If you choose to keep the shelf CC name, and implement a TRADING AS name alongside it, this TRADING AS name is NOT protected by law. Anyone else may use your Trading As name at their discretion. So you are not protected, neither is the money you spend on advertising your business: Why? Your customers may very well be directed to another business with the same TRADING AS name!
